Custom Airbrush Tanning San Diego

Well, at Urban Sun Tanning, there is a sunless tanning option that can still give you that deep, dark tan that you desire. You can come in to our salon, and one of our highly trained airbrush technicians will give you a custom, natural looking airbrush tan.

We use a combination of safe ingredients including dihydroxyacetone also known as DHA. It’s a compound that comes from glycerin. When it’s spayed on your skin, it reacts with the amino acids in the outer layers of your skin, producing a brown tan color that can last anywhere from 7 to 10 days. With the use of our recommended products, you could add up to 2 additional days to the life of your tan.

DHA is considered safe by the FDA and it’s a good alternative to basking in the sun for hours.

Just remember that spray tanning doesn’t actually tan your skin, so it doesn’t protect you when you go outdoors. So if you do go out to the beach, make sure you bring along your sunscreen.
