8th Anniversary Wrap-Up

Thanks to everyone that came out to our big 8th Anniversary Free Tan Event this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The event was a huge success, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate 8 years of glamorous tanning at Urban Sun.  It was our way of saying thanks for your continued business and support for past the 8 years.

The always awesome, Daniel Tyack shot a bunch of great photos. He was on the scene throughout the weekend. You may have seen him sneaking around the salon trying to capture all the fun moments. Oh yeah, and he was also able to capture some nice video footage, which you can see here. We’ve also posted more photos to our Facebook Page. We gave away a ton of prizes and Gift Cards throughout the weekend. Our Grand Prize Raffle winner was Donna Gines. She won the most amazing tanning basket full of luxury tanning products by Designer Skin, including tanning lotions, after-tan products and fun tanning accessories valued over $450!

This anniversary event would have not been possible without all of the great people who helped make it happen. I would like the personally thank everyone who was a part of this celebration, including our gorgeous and brainy staff and management – Suzy, Alyssa, Sarah, Catherine, Kelsey, Melissa, Neely, Jessica, Brittany and Braidy.

We hope everyone enjoyed their free tanning, and got to experience some form of sunless tans. For just $1 or $8, clients could give either the new Mystic Tan HD or our custom airbrush tanning a try. And boy did they ever. We were booked solid from open to close. What fun! Overall, this was a blast! Can’t wait to see what we’ll cook up for our 9th Anniversary. I look forward to seeing you this season to help you achieve the perfect tan.
